Mary Petty brings over 20 years of hospitality experience to her role as General Manager at Gianna. Raised in Florida in a family of restaurateurs, she was immersed in Southern food culture from an early age. Her father, a Culinary Institute of America-trained chef, instilled in her a deep appreciation for food and hospitality.
Mary’s career has spanned the country—from Glacier Bay, Alaska to the Florida Gulf Coast—before she settled in New Orleans in 2022 with her fiancé, Phillip. She joined the team at Pêche as a server and quickly advanced to Assistant General Manager in the spring of 2025. During her tenure, she earned her WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Level 3 certification with distinction and is currently pursuing the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines.
