Madelyn’s paternal grandparents immigrated from Italy to New York, where her parents met before moving down south to start a family. Born and raised in the New Orleans area with a mother who is an exceptionally talented cook, Madelyn grew up on all the traditional Italian and Cajun staples. She attended Louisiana Tech University, studying Business Administration and Computer Information Systems, before starting her restaurant career as a waitress at Domenica in the Roosevelt Hotel.
Madelyn brings over a decade of experience in administrative management and human resources, having held key positions with BRG Hospitality, the Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group, and Due South Restaurant Group. During her time at BRG, she was honored to be a part of the opening management team for Shaya restaurant, which the James Beard Foundation quickly awarded Best New Restaurant. Working in administrative roles allowed her to have a hand in restaurant operations while focusing on the bigger picture. With a dedication to first-class service, Madelyn oversees Gianna’s operations, ensuring that every guest experiences the warmth, elegance, and exceptional quality that Gianna is known for.
