Brandy Trepagnier was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She began her career in the restaurant industry in 2001 at Susan Spicer’s Cobalt restaurant, working as a hostess and cocktail server while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Management at University of New Orleans. Brandy joined Link Restaurant Group in 2006 as a member of the opening team of Cochon. To expand her experience in management and event planning, she accepted a position as the Bar Manager/Event Planner at the Bridge Lounge in New Orleans in 2010. In 2012, Brandy returned to Link Restaurant Group with enthusiasm and vigor to move up the ranks, and learn every aspect of the business along the way. Upon her return she served as Director of Events and Catering at Calcasieu the company’s private dining and banquet facility. In the spring of 2019, Brandy joined Chef Rebecca Wilcomb as the General Manager of the opening team at Gianna. Gianna was honored to be named a James Beard Award Nominee for Best New Restaurant 2019.
